The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) Long Range Radars (LRR) department is seeking a Section Leader, to support the career development, engagement, and performance of engineers. In this role, you will ensure effective staffing across programs while fostering a healthy, productive team culture. Section Leader responsibilities are performed part‑time, and candidates must also hold a full‑time technical or program role within the department. This role will be onsite in Woburn, MA. By serving as a Section Leader, you will gain valuable leadership experience, strengthen your coaching and people‑development skills, and build broader organizational awareness. This role offers the opportunity to influence staffing decisions, support team growth, and collaborate closely with functional and program leadership. Section Leaders also expand their professional network, deepen their understanding of workforce planning, and enhance their visibility across the department—all while continuing to advance in their primary technical or program role.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
