Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Section Leader for the ALEGS department in Tucson, AZ. You will oversee 15–20 engineers, manage performance, and drive staffing and hiring decisions for airborne electrical products.

You will work with program and functional leaders to align goals, lead as a technical lead when needed, and ensure adherence to RTX values. DoD Secret clearance is required on day one, with relocation eligibility offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field and 8+ years of relevant experience.
Experience leading a technical team and directing personnel.
Experience with RF/Digital/Analog Power subsystems development, design, analysis, or test.

Responsibilities

Oversee direct line management including performance management, career development, and staffing.
Guide a section of 15–20 ALEGS engineers and support hiring efforts.
Ensure policy compliance and handle personnel issues as needed.
Lead technical activities and collaborate across program and functional teams.
Promote cross-boundary collaboration to drive program execution and staffing.
Contribute as technical lead or execution lead, dedicating time to Section Leader duties.
