Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking an ALEGS Section Leader to oversee a team of 15–20 engineers and drive cost, schedule, and technical oversight across the product lifecycle.

You will lead direct line management, coordinate with program and functional leadership, and ensure staffing aligns with program needs while upholding RTX Values. This onsite role requires DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading technical teams (e.g., IPTL or Engineering Lead) and program execution.
• Experience with RF/Digital/Analog power subsystems development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee direct line management, performance management, career development and talent acquisition.
• Lead a section of 15–20 ALEGS engineers.
• Support performance development and hiring activities including resume reviews and onboarding.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and address personnel issues as needed.
• Manage administrative activities such as timecards.
• Promote collaboration across functional, program and supplier boundaries to drive program execution.
