Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Accelerator Physics, Physics, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in accelerator science or engineering, with 6+ years in leadership/management.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary scientific and technical teams.
• Experience supporting design, commissioning, operation, or upgrades of complex accelerator facilities.
• Strong communication skills for executive-level presentations and reports.

Responsibilities

• Establish the strategic vision, structure, workforce plans, and management systems for the EIC Development Section.
• Provide direct line supervision of Group Leaders and align priorities with EIC project goals.
• Oversee performance, safety, and quality requirements and support collaboration with DOE and international partners.
• Represent the Section in technical reviews, meetings, and collaborative working groups.
