Job summary

Monroe Group is seeking a dedicated Community Manager in Glenwood Springs to support our Senior Disabled community. The role manages daily property operations, staffing decisions, leasing, HUD compliance and budget adherence.

Responsibilities include overseeing staff, maintaining wait lists, unit turns, rent collection, and ensuring compliance with Section 8 and LIHTC programs while collaborating with the Regional Manager on annual budgets and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 1 year of property management experience in a managerial role.
• Working knowledge of affordable housing programs (Section 8 and LIHTC).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee community staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain wait list and ensure vacant units are turned and leased quickly.
• Prepare budgets and monitor expenses to stay within budget.
• Ensure compliance with Section 8 and Tax Credit programs.
• Prepare regular reports and coordinate with Regional Manager.
