Job summary

Monroe Group LTD in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Community Manager with Section 8 and LIHTC experience to oversee daily property operations, leasing, unit turns, and HUD compliance while supporting the Regional Manager.

You will help develop budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure all paperwork and certifications are up to date, including resident files, recertifications, and annual reports. The role requires strong communication and a proactive, self‑driven approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 1 year of Property Management experience in a managerial role.
• Must have working knowledge of affordable housing programs.
• Section 8 experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the community staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain wait list and timely unit turns and leasing.
• Ensure compliance with Section 8 and Tax Credit programs (LIHTC).
• Prepare budgets and monitor expenses within approved limits.
• Post rents and manage daily deposits.
• Prepare management reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Ensure resident paperwork and certifications are up to date.
• Collaborate with Regional Manager on compliance issues.
