Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer for our Melbourne, FL campus to support information systems design, operation, and security activities. This on-site, full-time role requires a Secret clearance and is part of the CIDO Classified Solutions team.

Responsibilities include lab infrastructure management, virtualization, network and security functions, and avionics test integrations. Willing to work alternating schedules, occasional weekends, and travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM discipline with related engineering experience.
• Current in-scope U.S. Government Secret security clearance or enrollment in Continuous Evaluation program; clearance must be maintained.
• Ability to obtain SAP clearance before start date; SAP clearance is a condition of continued employment.
• Security+ certification (or greater) required to be considered.
• Working knowledge of security monitoring tools such as Splunk, Nessus, and SolarWinds.

Responsibilities

• Perform Lab Infrastructure design, deployment, configuration, and management.
• Lead desktop virtualization and host system administration.
