Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Senior Principal Cyber Systems Engineer to lead system security engineering across the full lifecycle. The role requires DoD SSE expertise and collaboration across teams in an Agile environment.

This onsite position offers exposure to advanced defense programs, clearance requirements, and opportunities to influence cybersecurity architecture and mission assurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university.
• Master’s Degree in STEM and 7+ years of cybersecurity experience or PhD in STEM and 4+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• Active DoD security clearance (Secret or higher) and ability to obtain/maintain SAP clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead System Security Engineering across the lifecycle.
• Develop and analyze security requirements, architectures and mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with IPTs, suppliers and management to ensure secure program execution.
