Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking Cyber Systems Engineers to support information systems and network design, operation, and security at the Melbourne, FL campus. This on-site, full-time role requires the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance and SAP clearance in some cases.

The position involves lab infrastructure, desktop virtualization, and securing multiple development environments across classification levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related engineering experience or Master's degree with 3 years of related engineering experience.
• Must have a current in-scope U.S. Government Secret security clearance or be in Continuous Evaluation program; SAP clearance may be required.
• Security+ certification (or greater) is required to be considered.
• Experience with security monitoring tools such as Splunk, Nessus, and SolarWinds.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware/VDI/ESXi and AD infrastructure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Lab Infrastructure design, deployment, and management.
• Lead desktop virtualization and host system administration.
• Implement cyber networking to ensure secure communications between test systems.
• Document procedures, results, and best practices for assurance and compliance.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve integration issues and ensure system performance.
