Job summary

Empower AI, a government-focused AI company, seeks an experienced IT/Facilities specialist to support DoD/J6 projects in the Arlington area. This role involves field deployment tasks, imaging, asset tagging, procurement documentation, and coordinating moves with Property Management, ensuring connectivity for up to 50 users during stand-ups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; vendor certification in the technology being applied may be considered.
• 5+ years of professional experience supporting a similar role.
• Experience supporting a DoD or J6 customer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Executes IT project tasks including office walk-throughs to assess IT requirements and readiness.
• Assesses IT requirements in office spaces and assists with procurement documents.
• Re-images workstations and laptops and configures software for relocated users.
• Coordinates logistics with Property Management for office moves; ensures connectivity of relocated IT assets.
• Provides on-site IT support for stand-ups and training for up to 50 users.
