Job summary

HRsmart is seeking an Experienced IT Specialist to support DoD operations in the 502 CS and 325 CS data centers. You will analyze hardware and software issues, implement fixes, and assist programming staff with automation across on-site and off-site locations.

Responsibilities include creating and deleting user accounts, enforcing system security, applying patches, configuring servers, and managing Active Directory and backups. A Secret clearance and IAT II certification are required.

Qualifications

• IAT Level II certification required per DoD 8570.01.
• Experience with AD, backups, data recovery, and remote tools.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Unix, and Cisco network standards.
• Security clearance: active Secret clearance.
• Experience with IA in DoD environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and tune multiuser IT systems in DoD data centers.
• Create and delete user accounts; enforce system security.
• Apply patches and upgrades to ensure security and performance.
• Provide technical assistance to programming staff and automate processes.
• Design and configure servers for local and off-site locations.
• Monitor networks, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
• Assist with TCNO/MTO tasks manually when not pushed by Government.
• Maintain hardware/software and operating systems on local and off-site systems.
