Job summary

Empower AI is seeking a Site Systems Administrator Assistant to provide on-site IT services for DoS offices nationwide. You will support hardware, software, and user accounts, ensuring uptime and security alignment with DoS policies.

Responsibilities include deployment, patching, backups, incident tracking, and documentation. A Secret Clearance is required, with 2+ years in IT and an Associate degree; CompTIA A+/Sec+ helpful. This role is on-site across DoS locations in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Education and experience include at least 2+ years in IT and an associate degree.
• Must hold a Secret Security Clearance.
• Preferred certifications include CompTIA A+, Security+, ITIL 4 Foundation.

Responsibilities

• Assist SA lead to install, maintain, and monitor hardware and applications.
• Manage security patches, VIBs, and Oracle/SQL databases.
• Enforce DoS security controls including AD administration and remediation.
• Ensure confidentiality, integrity, availability of systems and data; perform backups and restores.
• Log and track incidents in Service Now; document configuration changes.
• Maintain up-to-date site topology diagrams and technical documentation.
