Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in the United States is seeking a Planner/Scheduler to join the Scheduling Center of Excellence on programs within the Mission Systems Sector. The role focuses on implementing standard processes, coordinating the integrated master plan, and mentoring junior schedulers in a highly complex environment.

You will work with program teams to develop IMS/IMS, present status to management, and ensure schedule integrity with MS Project, Oracle P6 or Deltek Open Plan,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12 years related professional experience or Master’s with 10 years related experience.
• 16 years of applied experience in lieu of degree.
• 8 years' experience in project scheduling using scheduling tools (MS Project, Oracle P6, Deltek Open Plan).
• Experience with Schedule Health Analysis and Schedule Risk Assessment tools.
• Proficiency with MS Office—Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

Responsibilities

• Develop and status the IMS and integrated master schedule on programs.
• Mentor junior schedulers and lead multiple schedulers in an operating unit.
• Provide interface to program office and IPT leads; coordinate risk analyses and EVMS practices.
• Conduct schedule analyses, identify performance variances, and drive corrective actions.
• Communicate IMS status and analysis to internal/external management weekly/monthly.
