Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Planner/Scheduler to join the Scheduling Center of Excellence. You will coordinate with engineering and operations to decompose scope and establish the program's schedule baseline, enabling execution across multiple programs.

Ideal candidates have strong teambuilding, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and substantial experience with project scheduling tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years professional related experience or 12 years with no degree.
• 4 years of program scheduling experience using MS Project, Oracle P6, or Deltek Open Plan.
• Strong MS Office experience including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Establish and control the program schedule baseline with multifunctional teams.
• Develop an integrated program measurement baseline to manage cost, schedule and technical performance.
• Use scheduling software to plan progress and identify variances for corrective action.
• Perform metrics reviews and predictive analyses to improve project outcomes.
• Conduct schedule risk analyses and resolve critical path issues with the team.
