Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Program Planning Analyst/Scheduler to join the Mission Systems Sector in a fully on-site role in Sykesville, MD. You will develop and maintain IMS, coordinate with program teams, and ensure schedule integrity and EVMS compliance.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong scheduling skills with tools like MS Project/Oracle P6, and the ability to travel 10% domestically. US citizenship and a Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; 2 years related experience or 6 years of applied experience in lieu of degree.
• Planning/scheduling experience is required or considered.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• The ability to travel domestically ~10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop program plans and schedules with Program Managers, Engineering, Operations and Business Management.
• Prepare, maintain, and analyze an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) with contractual need dates.
• Decompose program scope into tasks, identify dependencies, and analyze forecast impacts on critical paths.
• Develop estimates to complete based on resource requirements and manage status updates and internal/external reports.
