Job summary

RTX is seeking an Engineering Initiatives Lead to drive modern engineering practices and enable enterprise-wide process improvements. You will lead cross-functional teams across engineering, digital technology, operations, security, facilities, and programs.

The role emphasizes GenAI and VDI adoption, governance and compliance, and delivering measurable improvements in productivity and throughput across engineering functions. Remote work is available with on-site discussions as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
• Ten or more years in engineering leadership, process improvement, and cross-functional project execution.
• Experience piloting, evaluating, and scaling technical and operational initiatives.
• Experience with GenAI and VDI and their application to engineering workflows.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to develop innovative technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills for leadership updates and technical briefings.
• Experience collaborating across engineering, digital technology, security, quality, operations, and supply chain in a matrixed environment.
• Experience driving adoption of standardized processes in large organizations.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship required.

• Assess and pilot new technical solutions to improve productivity, throughput, and compliance.
