Job summary

RTX is seeking an Associate Director of Capability Ecosystem within the EDSI Digital Engineering team in East Hartford. You will lead a team responsible for PLM and CAD tools, drive core engineering capabilities, and coordinate with RTX and Pratt & Whitney units. Expect traveling up to 10% and a focus on mentorship and strategic delivery.

The role requires a STEM-based degree with 12+ years in engineering fields and the ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with extensive leadership experience in engineering-heavy industry.
• Experience across capability development lifecycle and direct supervision.
• U.S. government security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EDSI DE team and contribute to organizational strategy.
• Align team goals with strategic objectives and funded initiatives.
• Ensure maintenance and foundational capabilities meet stakeholders' expectations.
• Establish KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Mentor managers and individual contributors on the team.
