Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to oversee operations at the Washington, DC location with responsibilities for contract performance and staff management. The role requires a Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship or permanent residency per contract terms.

Responsibilities include staffing, reporting, and ensuring compliance with privacy, security, and program standards while coordinating with DOS and other U.S. government agencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Six years of progressive management experience in high-volume environments.
• Three years managing teams of similar size to the HQ contract scope.
• Three years leading seasonal/temporary workforces.
• Proficient with MS Office applications and reporting.
• Ability to prepare management, technical and personnel reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations at the location and ensure high performance.
• Assign personnel to work areas to match fluctuating workloads.
• Ensure compliance with Privacy Act and PII standards.
• Hire and manage staff throughout the contract life cycle.
• Provide timely performance data to Government for monitoring.
