Job summary

Precise Systems seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist in Reston, VA to manage full life cycle accounts payable for government contracting. A hybrid work arrangement is possible; travel and on-site support may be required to meet customer needs. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in government AP, experience with Deltek CostPoint or Concur is a plus, and proficiency in MS Office.

Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance and be a U.S. citizen.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of accounts payable experience in a government contracting environment.
• Experience with Deltek CostPoint and/or Concur is a plus.
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office suite.
• Strong customer-service focus with active listening and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with accuracy and timeliness.
• Detail-oriented with initiative and adaptability.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile corporate credit cards and enter invoices in CostPoint.
• Process full-cycle AP including approvals, coding, recording, and filing.
• Meet monthly and year-end close deadlines and assist with inquiries.
• Review travel expense reports in Concur and advise on travel policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
