CFS, a government contractor, seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist to own the AP process and work directly with finance leadership in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you will manage the full cycle, review invoices, process payments, and support contract administration. Enjoy a four-day workweek with Fridays off and free onsite parking at our Alexandria facility.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Deltek Costpoint experience is a strong plus.
• Experience with an ERP/accounting system.
• Understanding of chart of accounts and GAAP concepts.
• Experience processing electronic payments and using online vendor portals.
• Basic Excel skills including formulas and spreadsheet management.

Aufgaben

• Manage the full accounts payable cycle from invoice receipt through payment processing.
• Review invoices, coordinate approvals, and enter vouchers.
• Process ACH payments and online vendor payments.
• Monitor the AP inbox and move invoices through approvals efficiently.
• Follow up on pending approvals to ensure timely payments.
• Support contract administration by maintaining vendor agreements and related docs.
