Job summary

General Dynamics IT seeks a Tech Control Facility Technician III to support AFCENT. You will help install, maintain, and repair communications equipment, and exercise independent judgment to solve complex problems in field environments.

The role includes potential leadership, on-site training for personnel, and work in overseas military facilities. Requires 5+ years of related experience, Associates degrees, Security+ and CCNA certifications, SECRET clearance, and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Security+ certification and CCNA required or equivalent.
• Must be a US citizen with ability to obtain SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates, installs, maintains, and repairs electronic, mechanical, and/or other components and equipment.
• May serve as a team or task leader, coaching and reviewing the work of less-experienced professionals.
• Apply lead level experience in maintenance/troubleshooting of Tech Control Facility equipment
• Work in an overseas location supporting military facilities
• Provides advice and a variety of onsite training for customer support personnel.
• Troubleshoots a variety of hardware and software problems and interconnectivity issues.
