Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Technician Maintenance II in Sterling, VA.

The role plans, installs, and tests ECM, mobile video, tactical radios, and tracking systems within armored vehicle platforms, with duty to modify power/cooling and ensure CM compliance. Requires Top Secret clearance eligibility, 5+ years of related electronics experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain DOD or DOS Top Secret Clearance.
• Five years of relevant electronics/radios experience.
• Five years of experience with electronic systems integration into armored vehicles.
• Good communications skills (oral and written).
• Ability to interact with all levels of an organization professionally and tactfully.
• Self-motivation and ability to work with no supervision.
• Proficient with Windows OS and office automation software (e.g., Microsoft Office, SharePoint).
• Experience with MAXIMO or other asset management system.
• ECM installation training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, perform and inspect installation and integration of ECM, mobile video, tactical and non-tactical radios, and personnel tracking into AM/AV systems.
• Modify power and cooling systems to support installed equipment and ensure configuration management designs are followed.
• Inspect, repair and service systems; conduct QA inspections and correct non-conformances.
• Deploy to support SECSTATE domestic operations and PTB OCONUS operations as directed.
• Report equipment, supplies and labor usage through management systems and work orders.
