Job summary

SimVentions, Inc is seeking an enterprising System Administrator to develop Windows- and Linux-based engineering solutions within a government hosting facility. This full-time, on-site role is based at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD, with an active Secret clearance required and potential to obtain Top Secret after start.

Compensation ranges from $75,000 to $150,000 annually in USD, reflecting experience, education, and contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience performing the listed responsibilities.
• Experience with RMF compliance, STIGs, and ACAS scanning.
• Certification in Windows or Linux operating environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering solutions for government hosting needs.
• Deploy and maintain physical and virtual hardware, VMs, and containers.
• Perform routine maintenance and configuration on hosts.
• Install/configure and troubleshoot servers, workstations, and IT equipment.
• Maintain backups and disaster recovery plans.
• Manage user accounts and permissions.
• Deploy and maintain software applications and provide user support.
• Ensure security posture per DoD guidance and continuous monitoring.
