Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal/Sr Principal Engineer to serve as a Network Architect for the Sentinel program in Roy, UT. You will work within the Weapon System Integration (WSI) team under SEIT, focusing on NSI and program-wide networking governance, interfaces, and documentation.

A Secret clearance and DoD-related experience are required, with relocation support possible. The role entails MBSE-driven design and collaboration across MBSE governance, network teams, and stakeholders,

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance with an ability to obtain and maintain SAP approval within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company to meet its business need
• Ability to obtain DOD 8570 IAT Level II (Security + or higher) within 2 months of employment start
• Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 5+ years of experience for the Principal level; 8+ years for Sr. Principal with Bachelor’s; alternatives for higher degrees as specified

Responsabilités

• Mentor under a senior-level architect on networking systems architecture synthesis and system-level development
• Use Model-Based Systems Engineering practices to design, test, and verify network capabilities
• Drive logical/physical network architecture governance, tool standardization, and system-level network architecture development
• Coordinate with MBSE governance and network developer teams
• Influence network requirements and interfaces; translate program-level requirements into network-level deliverables
• Develop and document technical processes and procedures as needed
• Create and ensure that appropriate network documentation exists
