Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal/Sr Principal Network Architect in Roy, Utah, supporting the Sentinel program. You will join the NSI team, developing program-wide networking governance and system-level network artifacts while mentoring junior staff.

You will apply Model-Based Systems Engineering practices to design, test, and verify network capabilities, coordinating with MBSE governance teams and delivering documentation and configurations across lab networks and test environments.

Qualifications

• US citizen with an active Secret clearance or ability to obtain SAP approval.
• IAT Level II Security+ or higher within 2 months of start.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM and corresponding experience (T03: 5y; 3y with MS; 1y with PhD).
• 2+ years of MBSE tools, SysML/UML like Cameo or Rhapsody.

Responsibilities

• Mentor under a senior-level architect on networking systems synthesis.
• Use MBSE to design, test, and verify network capabilities.
• Drive network governance, tool standardization, and architecture development.
• Coordinate MBSE governance with other teams (SDV/BU).
• Translate requirements into network deliverables and interfaces.
• Support waveform governance and OSI protocols and timing.
• Assess design and maintenance of scalable network infrastructure.
• Create and maintain network documentation and test networks.
• Develop processes and procedures; implement system enhancements.
