Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a press operator for our Holland, MI plant. The role involves operating up to 800-ton stamping presses, loading correct blanks, and verifying quality per JES and ERP records.

Responsibilities include completing inspections, documenting results in Plex, and ensuring safe, efficient production to meet daily targets. A high school diploma and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a level sufficient to safely perform duties.
• Demonstrates ownership, reliability, and integrity in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor stamping presses up to 800 tons per production plan.
• Refer to JES and production orders to stamp parts per specifications.
• Perform quality checks and record data in Plex ERP.
• Pack, label, and store parts per instructions and customer requirements.
• Complete on-line inspection sheets and paperwork; maintain safety and cleanliness.
