Qualifications

• Age 16+
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must complete mandatory employee training within the first 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Adapts classroom activities, assignments and materials to support classroom objectives and IEP goals.
• Provides first aid and medical assistance as directed by health care professionals.
• Administers tests, homework, and make-up work to support teachers.
• Assists in data collection to monitor student progress.
• Supervises and escorts students to/from classes to maintain a safe learning environment.
• Provides instruction to students in individual and group activities to reinforce learning objectives and IEP/504 plans.
