Job summary

Alpine School District is seeking an Instructional Paraprofessional to support the instructional program for students with special needs in Sage Canyon Middle. You will assist in implementing plans, monitor behavior, and provide clerical support to teachers and staff.

This non-contract role requires adapting activities under supervision, administering basic first aid, helping with tests and assignments, and supervising students across school environments.

Qualifications

• Age 16+ is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must complete mandatory employee training within the first 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Adapts classroom activities under supervision to support objectives.
• Administers immediate first aid and medical assistance as instructed.
• Administers tests, homework, make-up work to support teachers.
• Monitors student behavior and progress across classes.
• Supervises and escorts students to/from classes for a safe environment.
