Qualifications

• Adapts classroom activities, assignments and materials under supervision to support objectives and IEP goals.
• Administers immediate first aid and medical assistance as instructed.
• Assists students with self-care activities for personal hygiene.
• Attends job specific trainings for the purpose of acquiring and conveying information.
• Collects data to support teachers and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with supervising staff to evaluate progress and implement IEP objectives.
• Implements behavioral plans designed by IEP team to reinforce learning.
• Maintains instructional materials and records to ensure availability and compliance.
• Monitors students during periods in diverse school environments for safety.
• Provides instruction in a variety of activities to reinforce objectives and social skills.
• Attends meetings and trainings for job function updates.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
