Instructure is seeking a skilled Assessment Editor (Mathematics) to join our assessment content team. The role focuses on creating, reviewing, and revising test items aligned to state standards and grade levels, across multiple states.

You will work with assessment designers, writers, and editors to ensure item quality, accuracy, and educational impact. A background in secondary mathematics and experience with item banks and standardized assessments are highly valued, with opportunities to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in secondary mathematics or related field.
2–3 years of experience developing student assessment content products with an educational provider or at the state level.
Mastery of mathematics curriculum expectations and state learning standards.
Experience using an assessment management system to author/edit items (tech-enhanced and traditional).
Strong written and verbal communication; ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined work style.

Responsibilities

Create, review, format, and revise test items based on alignment to state standards and grade-level appropriateness.
Review assessments for multiple grade levels and content areas across Mathematics.
Align math items to state standards for multiple states.
