Job summary

Instructure is seeking an Assessment Editor (Mathematics) to help develop and review test items aligned to state standards across various grades. You will work with assessment designers, writers, and editors to ensure item quality and alignment.

The role requires a strong background in secondary mathematics, 2–3 years of experience with item banks and assessments, and a rigorous approach to editorial integrity and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in secondary mathematics or related field.
• 2–3 years experience developing student assessment content with an educational provider or at the state level.
• Mastery of mathematics curriculum expectations and state standards.
• Experience with item banks and standardized assessments.
• Experience with tech-enhanced and traditional items in an assessment system.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, format, and revise test items aligned to state standards and grade level.
• Review assessments across multiple grade levels and content areas in Mathematics.
• Align math items to state standards for multiple states.
