Job summary

Connection in the United States is seeking a Workstation Technician for a second-shift role (2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.). You will support distribution services with desktop hardware, printers, and device management, under the Site Network Systems Manager.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting Tier 1 hardware/software issues, installing and updating desktops, training staff, maintaining inventory, and documenting procedures. Must provide customer-friendly service and adapt to changing priorities.

Qualifications

• Intermediate and Tier 1 desktop computer repair, configuration, and networking.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills to include creating presentations, creating documents in Word and creating spreadsheets in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Distribution Services department in day-to-day operations through desktop, computer functionality, and device management.
• Provides immediate support to distribution fulfillment operations and responds to printer/system issues.
• Installs desktops, printers, wearable devices, laptops, tablets, and video conferencing equipment.
• Updates and maintains central desktop and peripheral inventory database; documents procedures.
