Job summary

Shield HealthCare is seeking a Second Shift Warehouse Supervisor in Valencia, California to oversee daily distribution operations and a non-exempt warehouse staff. You will ensure safe, timely order fulfillment, monitor quality, and coordinate with supervisors and management on space, equipment, and process improvements.

The role requires OSHA knowledge, forklift certification, and strong communication. Proficiency in Excel/Word and basic ERP/TMS tools is expected; this is a hands-on leadership

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2 years supervising warehouse, distribution, or logistics.
• OSHA and legal requirements knowledge.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Learn AS400, SQL, Epicor, Clippership TMS.
• Forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily warehouse operations and staff.
• Performs distribution clerk functions when required.
• Ensures timely and efficient delivery of orders to satisfy customers.
• Monitors quality control and inspects orders.
• Oversees equipment safety and space allocation decisions.
• Maintains safe work environment through daily housekeeping.
• Ensures OSHA and other regulatory compliance.
• Oversees inventory processes, reporting and safety corrections.
• Trains warehouse team and participates in safety programs.
• Supports internal customers and provides orientation as needed.
• Assists with facilities maintenance and end-of-month tasks.
