Job summary

Responsibilities include hoisting setup, rigging, bolting, alignment, welding, material handling, and ensuring safety compliance. Candidates should have basic reading and math skills and experience with tools used in manufacturing or construction.

Qualifications

• Basic reading and mathematical skills.
• Mechanical skills from manufacturing or construction experience.
• Reading a tape measure and using power and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up hoisting equipment and rigging for placing structural steel.
• Fasten steel members to hoist cables using chains or ropes.
• Signal hoisting operations and guide members into position.
• Bolt and align members; weld and cut as needed.
• Load, transport, and secure materials; perform routine tool maintenance.
