Job summary

Canam Bridges designs, manufactures and installs steel bridges and is part of Canam Group. A must be authorized to work in the USA, this second-shift role focuses on finishing and coating operations in a heavy manufacturing setting in New Hampshire.

You will read blueprints, apply coatings, wear a respirator, and operate lift equipment to position materials safely. The job demands attention to safety, quality, and teamwork, with opportunity for competitive shift differential and career

Qualifications

• Related industrial coating/finishing experience and/or training.
• Meet medical eligibility to wear a tight-fit respirator.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Read and speak English.
• Experience in structural steel operations is preferred.
• HS Diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read finishing requirements from blueprints.
• Apply coatings (paint, zinc) per specifications.
• Wear respirator or supplied air hood.
• Use rigging/hoisting equipment or forklift to move material.
• Inspect cranes/rigging and report defects.
• Tag loads for shipment and maintain quality standards.
• Comply with GHS and SDS labeling requirements.
• Daily area cleaning and equipment maintenance.
• Dispose of coating materials and waste properly.
• Support a safe, productive work environment and assist others as needed.
