Job summary

Canam Bridges is seeking a CNC Operator for the second shift in California. You will operate various CNC machines, perform milling, turning, drilling, tapping and inspections while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The role requires basic CNC experience, ability to work independently or as part of a team, and good English communication. A safety-conscious mindset and willingness to participate in maintenance and housekeeping are essential.

Qualifications

• Three months of CNC machine operations or training.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Read and speak English.
• Experience in structural steel operations (preferred).
• HS Diploma (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Mill, turn, drill, tap, deburr, mold and all bench operations and inspections as required.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor or trainer.
• Follow prescribed safety regulations and equipment tag-out procedures.
• Comply with GHS, SDS, and hazardous waste labeling requirements.
• Execute proper spill response procedures.
• Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required.
• Keep equipment and work area clean and in order.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating effectively with customers, co-workers, clients and supervisors.
• Work in a safe and conscientious manner.
• Assist other employees in performing their duties as necessary.
• Perform other job duties as assigned by supervisor.
