Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking a Security Specialist to monitor cameras, control access, investigate incidents, and maintain security across facilities. The role requires vigilance, strong communication, and the ability to work 2nd shift on-site in Milwaukee, WI.

Responsibilities include patrols, incident reporting, and collaboration with management and law enforcement. Prior security experience and a valid driver’s license are preferred; hours are 2:00 PM–10:30 PM CT, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a security or surveillance role.
• Strong understanding of CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
• Excellent observational and investigative skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and decisive in high‑pressure situations.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Camera Monitoring: Monitor live footage to detect suspicious activity or threats.
• Incident Investigation: Respond to security incidents, investigate breaches, document findings, and report to management.
• Property Surveillance & Security: Conduct regular patrols and secure premises, check for vulnerabilities.
• Access Control: Manage access points and key control, restrict entry to authorized personnel.
• Emergency Response: Quickly respond to emergencies following established protocols.
• Collaboration & Reporting: Work with law enforcement and teams; prepare incident reports and security audits.
• Security System Maintenance: Maintain cameras, alarms, and access control devices.
• Training & Awareness: Assist in training staff on security procedures.
