Job summary

Schneider is seeking a Security Specialist in Green Bay, WI to answer incoming calls from company truck drivers with security questions and requests while supporting gate access and monitoring security at facilities nationwide.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent, 1+ years in customer service, solid communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to review video monitors and respond to alarms promptly.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ years of customer service, business or related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to review and monitor video monitors for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls promptly and direct callers to the appropriate department or associate.
• Maintain courteous communication with internal associates and company drivers.
• Oversee the accurate inventory of equipment.
• Control gate access across Schneider locations.
• Analyze and react to gate video surveillance.
• Handle and resolve security alarms promptly.
• Guide associates on adhering to security policies and procedures.
• Handle confidential business information with the utmost discretion to ensure confidentiality is maintained.
