Job summary

Wisconsin Center District seeks a Public Safety Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Milwaukee, WI. The role enforces safety rules, monitors three facilities, and supervises security staff. Typical hours are 3pm–11pm with evenings, weekends, and holidays required.

Reporting to the Public Safety Manager, you will conduct patrols, manage access, handle emergencies, and prepare logs and reports. A valid driver’s license and relevant certifications are needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• CPR, First Aid and AED certification required within six months of employment.
• Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or related field or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Secure premises by monitoring surveillance, patrolling, and inspecting access points.
• Monitor loading dock activity to prevent unauthorized access and direct guests.
• Provide directions, assist guests, and control facility access to show rooms and meeting spaces.
• Patrol interior and exterior areas, respond to hazards, and operate life safety systems.
• Prepare daily logs and reports; supervise security patrol staff and contract security.
