Job summary

Barcel USA LLC is seeking a Production Supervisor – Second Shift to lead and coordinate Bethlehem, PA manufacturing operations. You will supervise second-shift staff, allocate resources, monitor performance, and ensure safety, quality, and On-time production in alignment with GMP/HACCP/FSMA standards.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or food production, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with Lean, 6S, and production reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Food Science, Business Management, Operations Management preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant manufacturing leadership experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Organize, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to meet schedules and customer requirements.
• Supervise second-shift personnel to achieve safety, quality, productivity and efficiency goals.
• Ensure proper staffing and resource allocation to support operations.
• Monitor processes and equipment performance to minimize downtime and maximize output.
• Review production reports and shift performance results.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members; conduct performance evaluations; provide feedback.
• Address employee concerns and administer disciplinary actions per policies.
• Promote teamwork and a positive work environment.
• Maintain a safe environment; enforce safety policies and OSHA regulations; lead safety initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with SQF, GMP, HACCP, and FSMA; participate in audits and corrective actions.
• Maintain 5S standards; identify opportunities for productivity and cost improvements; support Lean initiatives.
• Analyze production data and operational trends to implement process improvements; participate in root cause analyses.
• Prepare and communicate shift KPIs and performance reports to management; support sustainability initiatives.
