Job summary

Barcel USA LLC is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor to direct sanitation activities, ensuring SQF, GMP, and company standards are met across the Bethlehem facility. You will oversee the Master Cleaning Program, support internal and third-party audits, and collaborate with Production and Quality teams to maintain a safe, sanitary food environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field related to food safety.
• PCQI, HACCP and Internal Auditor certifications are required.
• Project management knowledge is preferred.
• Demonstrated auditing experience is important.
• Strong documentation and records management skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate sanitation activities to ensure SQF, GMPs and company standards.
• Lead Master Cleaning Program effectiveness and sanitation team performance.
• Support audits and collaborate with Production and Quality teams on safety.
• Assign, monitor and document sanitation tasks via Kleanz App.
• Conduct routine facility walk-throughs and ATP verifications.
• Identify gaps, implement CAPAs, and drive corrective actions.
• Develop, implement and maintain sanitation SOPs and policies.
• Train, coach and mentor sanitation staff and contractors.
• Ensure 5S standards are implemented and sustained.
• Monitor supplies, chemicals, and equipment; manage proper storage and disposal.
