Job summary

MSI Express, INC. in Batavia, IL, is looking for a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations, monitor yields, and implement adjustments to meet safety and USDA health standards.

You will provide direction to production associates, drive performance through coaching, ensure quality and timely delivery, and uphold customer satisfaction while maintaining a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 2+ years in production.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Food manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to plant production associates in safety, machine operation, sanitation, quality, customer service and maintenance.
• Adhere to productivity metrics to optimize profitability.
• Meet customer expectations for accuracy, quality and timeliness.
• Train and enforce company policies.
• Communicate policies and expectations to hourly personnel.
• Assist in establishing plant budgets, goals and standards.
• Develop production team through performance management.
• Monitor production and implement timely improvement actions.
• Create a positive working environment supporting continuous improvement and equal treatment.
• Responsible for Food Safety and Quality within their influence.
• Report Food Safety and Quality problems promptly.
