Job summary

MSI Express, INC in Geneva, IL seeks a Group Coordinating Lead for the 2nd shift to support the production line under the supervision of the production/warehouse supervisor. The role focuses on line leadership, setup readiness, and safety compliance.

You will lead operations, troubleshoot with maintenance, document performance and downtime, and ensure food safety and quality standards are upheld. Overtime may be required and lifting up to 50 pounds is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with all set-ups before starting the production line.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment with maintenance and assist operators.
• Responsible for Food Safety and Quality within their influence and report issues promptly.
• Able to load/unload, lift/move equipment or product up to 50 pounds.
• Follow all company policies including general manufacturing and safety practices.
• Must submit to OSHA Powered Industrial Truck training and pass associated tests.

Responsibilities

• Provide input to supervisor in decision making impacting production line/warehouse efficiency.
• Assist operators and maintenance in troubleshooting and setup.
• Document line operation, performance, and downtime during the shift.
• Relieve operators for lunch and breaks as needed.
• Adhere to safety rules and company policies; support quality and food safety initiatives.
• Perform other duties as instructed by management.
