Job summary

A Production Supervisor is needed to lead 1st and 2nd shift teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will guide and coach hourly staff, ensure safety and quality, and drive on-time production while controlling costs.

Daily tasks include inspections, safety audits, training, and equipment maintenance for peak performance. Responsibilities include monitoring yields and efficiencies, leading monthly line meetings, and adapting to varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Lead training, coaching, and mentoring for staff.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Motivate and coach to peak performance in a team environment.
• Adapt to fast-paced environments and long hours when needed.
• Must have experience with yields, labor, and root cause analysis.
• Manufacturing background preferred; food/facility experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections on the production floor and lead safety actions.
• Enforce safety and quality plans; train staff on SOPs including lock-out/tag-out.
• Track yields and efficiencies; work to minimize downtime and costs.
• Direct hourly employees; lead monthly line meetings and floor walks.
• Analyze product metrics and suggest changes to improve efficiency and quality.
