Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in a manufacturing setting.
• High School Diploma or GED; college degree is a bonus.
• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds; tolerate environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assign and monitor work to achieve production efficiency.
• Direct, train, appraise, develop, and discipline hourly staff as required.
• Ensure production meets quality standards and control scrap and rework.
• Enforce plant policies and procedures on health, safety, and the employee handbook.
• Assist in establishing and setting up equipment for production jobs or process improvements.
• Report and follow through on tooling needs and equipment maintenance problems.
• Maintain compliance with all plant policies and procedures.
• Drive employee communication and engagement.
• Adhere to Quality Systems requirements and participate in audits.
• Attend meetings and training; support 5S and departmental QA audits.
