Relate Search is partnering with a leading high-volume manufacturer to hire a Second Shift Production Supervisor in Winchester, VA. The role leads production and supports maintenance, quality, tooling, and other functions to keep the line running safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will coach and develop employees, resolve production challenges on the plant floor, manage staffing and shift handoffs, and drive continuous improvement across the shift.

Qualifikationen

• Experience leading employees in a fast-paced production setting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coaching abilities.
• Proven problem-solving skills with urgency for issues.
• Knowledge of manufacturing machinery and equipment; tooling, presses, welding preferred.
• Experience supervising multiple crews and shifts.
• Focus on safety, training, and continuous improvement.

Aufgaben

• Lead second-shift production personnel and coordinate supporting teams to meet safety, quality, productivity goals.
• Maintain floor presence and identify issues; coordinate timely solutions.
• Coach, train, and develop employees; reinforce safe practices and accountability.
• Manage daily staffing, scheduling, handoffs, and cross-department communication.
• Monitor processes, setup, quality, and workflow; partner with maintenance and quality to minimize disruption.
