Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a Production Lead for a 2nd shift (3:30 PM–12:30 AM) with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off, to oversee a line of production associates in portioning, meal bagging, and shipping. The role requires leading, directing, and training staff to meet daily production targets and quality standards.

The lead will start before production, obtain the daily plan from the supervisor, and set up tables and lines according to SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Guides production associates on portioning, meal bagging, and shipping processes.
• Sets up lines and stations per SOPs before the shift starts.
• Communicates targets and expectations to the team and monitors performance.
• Escalates concerns to the Production Supervisor when needed.
• Coordinates with warehouse to manage shortages and plan replenishment.
• Counts output and reports results to the supervisor as part of inventory tracking.
