Job summary

Raycap Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Mechanical Assembly Production Lead I to oversee daily assembly operations on the shop floor.

You will coordinate work assignments, monitor progress, and communicate delays or risks to Production Management to ensure schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements are met. You will also support training, troubleshooting, and process improvement while promoting teamwork across shifts and departments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production teams on the shop floor.
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Strong problem-solving for equipment issues and quality concerns.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily direction and guidance to assemblers to meet production priorities and schedules.
• Communicate delays, equipment issues, material shortages, quality concerns, or schedule risks to Production Management.
• Assign and coordinate work among assemblers based on priorities and capabilities.
• Verify team members are logged into the correct PPCC job for each product.
• Monitor operations to identify issues affecting productivity, quality, or schedule.
• Ensure adherence to quality, drawing requirements, and procedures.
• Collaborate with Quality and other departments to resolve issues.
• Promote standard operating procedures and housekeeping.
• Support training and development of assemblers and safety procedures.
