Job summary

Applied Composites in Brea, CA is seeking a Production Lead (2nd shift) to oversee the production area in complex mechanical and electromechanical assembly operations, ensuring an efficient and compliant line. You will plan and schedule production, determine staffing needs, train staff, and coordinate the movement of work to meet area requirements while upholding safety and quality standards.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience, a High School Diploma, strong problem

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of relevant production experience
• Experience in planning, scheduling, and monitoring production cycles
• Ability to perform complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manufacturing instructions

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, and monitors the production cycle per instructions
• Determines staff requirements for production schedules; coordinates, monitors, and trains production staff
• Coordinates the efficient movement of production to meet area requirements
• Applies process specifications and records production time and quantity data
• Performs complex precision assembly per written, visual, and verbal instruction
• Inspects own and/or others' work to ensure correctness against drawings
• Other duties as assigned
