Raycap Inc. in North Charleston, SC, is seeking a 2nd Shift Mechanical Assembly - Production Lead I to guide daily production, ensure schedules, quality, and safety. You will coordinate work, monitor progress, and communicate delays to Management, while aiding training and process improvements.

The role requires leadership, problem-solving, and strong communication across shifts, aiming to maintain high standards and safe practices in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead and coordinate on a production floor.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Experience troubleshooting production or equipment issues.
• Effective written and verbal communication across teams.

Responsabilités

• Provide daily direction to assemblers to meet priorities and deadlines.
• Communicate delays, equipment issues, shortages, or risks to management.
• Assign and coordinate work based on priorities and capabilities.
• Ensure proper log-in to PPCC for each product being produced.
• Monitor operations and address issues affecting productivity.
• Promote safe, quality-driven production practices and SOPs.
• Support training and development of assemblers and instructions.
• Maintain clean, organized production areas and housekeeping standards.
